LEGÀMI means "bonds" in Italian, referring to the emotional ties we have with others. It is a series of sculptures that explore the most unsettling aspects of human relationships: the emotional bonds that often blur the lines between love and possession, loyalty and control.

The sculptures depict seated dogs, frozen in motionless anticipation. Some timidly raise a paw, as if asking for affection. The raku technique creates cracks on their bodies, suggesting that this endless waiting, this unwavering loyalty, might fracture their very essence. Marked eternally, the dogs remain still, offering their patience and unconditional presence.

In this way, Legàmi invites reflection on the complexity of emotional ties, highlighting the fine line between love and possession, and the fragility that can emerge from it. The sculptures become symbols of devotion and vulnerability, prompting contemplation on the nature of the bonds that connect us and the wounds they may inflict.
